2020: Towards the future
In a particular and important year for the entire nation, Ricci S.p.A. believes even more strongly in the values that have always inspired its actions, and for this reason, looks to the future with even greater confidence. The Board of Directors, consisting of Mario Ricci, Tullio Ricci and Michele Canditone, has been strengthened and consolidated with the entry of Mario Sassi and Silvia Ricci. This last entry, in particular, marks a very important milestone in the evolution of business continuity.
2017: Innovation and new challenges
In order to respond to the new challenges of the Construction and Real Estate market, a new company division dedicated to Hotellerie was set up, Ricci H.D. – Ricci Hospitality Division – which flanked and integrated the general construction sector, with specific professional skills dedicated to the hotel development sector. A new company was also set up, MT Ricci S.r.l., an innovative start-up that positions itself as a reference point on the national scene for seismic risk assessments of existing buildings. This new reality represents the engineering section at the service of Ricci S.p.A. with which it intends to expand the range of offer to the customer, also being able to provide a Design & Build option, as part of an integrated process.
2004 brought with it a new change, in the face of significant and consolidated growth. The company became a joint-stock company and acquired increasingly demanding and prestigious orders from national and international clients, all in the private sector. It began to operate as a General Contractor and, in this form, obtained contracts. A special mention should be made of the one acquired in the same year for Vodafone N.V., relating to the “South Europe Data Centre Consolidation” in Milan. This was followed by projects all over Italy, with a particular presence in Rome and Milan. A second operational headquarters was opened in Milan.
1996: Ricci Costruzioni S.r.l.
The company changed its legal status to Ricci Costruzioni S.r.l. Always sensitive to market evolutions and its new challenges, in 1996 it consolidated its vocation both in the realization of new constructions and renovation projects and in Facility Management activities. It acquired the ISO 9001 Quality Management System certification, the first Italian company in the building sector to do so. Subsequently, it implemented its own quality structure and obtained certifications: • OHSAS 18001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System. • ISO 14001 Environmental Management System. • SA 8000 Social Accountability International Standard.
1990 brought the acquisition of an important Facility Management and Service contract. The Company was entrusted with the maintenance of real estate assets owned by an important Insurance Company. The entrusting of these activities led to a significant evolution of the Company, which aligned itself even more with the new market demands also in the Facility sector.
1996: Ricci Costruzioni S.r.l.
The company was founded on 7 April 1986 by Mario and Tullio Ricci, who were already professionals in the construction sector. Driven by a strong passion and ambition to “Build”, Mario and Tullio decided to found Ricci Costruzioni S.n.c.. The company’s debut in the building sector was marked by the realization of residential buildings, immediately followed by the realization of one of the first shopping centres, “Il Narciso”, just outside Rome.

Ricci S.p.A. has been working for 35 years in design, construction and maintenance in the building sector for public and private works for civil and industrial use, as well as in the renovation of existing buildings, including conservative restoration of buildings of significant historical and/or artistic value.
